Kathy and Her Mother's Story

My mother suffered from Alzheimer’s disease for 12 years. While caring for my mom at home, I realized how important having help from professional caregivers was for me and for my mother to make sure she got the best care possible at home.

During this time, I discovered that while I loved being my mom’s primary caregiver, the additional care and support from our professional caregivers was essential and greatly needed. They provided much needed respite for our family and made a huge difference in our lives.

I’ve always enjoyed spending time with our senior citizens and value time spent hearing their stories and learning from the wisdom gained from their life experiences. I decided to open Nevada Caregivers because I wanted to help other people find the right caregiver for their family. All families should have caregivers that they can trust and welcome into their homes, whether for a day, a week, a month or longer. Caring relationships are the foundation of the work Nevada Caregivers does with our clients and families we work with throughout the years.

It is my heartfelt commitment to provide each family with a care plan and a caregiver that truly works and makes a difference in their life.
